Caroline is an accomplished professional Middle Eastern Dancer based in Cambridgeshire. She is renowned for her exciting performances which captivate and mesmerise her audience - her passion for the dance is contagious to audiences whenever she performs. Caroline's style is a mixture of sensuality, elegance and fun and she adds that extra special touch to any event. She is also known for her large collection of authentic exquisite cabaret costumes!
Caroline has been performing modern Egyptian cabaret in restaurants and nightclubs in the south of England and Internationally on a regular basis since 2003. She is experienced at improvising and has great stage presence adding that extra touch to your special event and leaving your guests with an everlasting memory.
She has appeared on Ready Steady Cook and live on BBC's Test the Nation and performs regularly at restaurants, weddings, parties, corporate events and theme nights.
Caroline is available for Corporate Events, Launch Parties, Team Build Event, Weddings, Parties, May Balls, Theme Evenings, Restaurants, TV work, Childrens Belly Dance Parties, Hen Nights (often incorporating a short belly dance lesson for the group), alternative Funerals, talks and workshops.

BOOKING INFORMATION
Every event is unique and Caroline will discuss all your requirements prior to the event taking place so that the booking can be tailored to your needs.
MUSIC- With over 100 cds ranging from traditional to popular music Caroline can accommodate every taste. Although performing mainly to Arabic music Caroline also has a selection of Turkish and some Greek music for performances.
MUSIC SYSTEM - Ipod or cd's are used for performing but if you have live musicians at your event Caroline will be happy to discuss performing with them. If you would like musicians at your event then this can be arranged.
COSTUMING- Caroline has over 25 authentic costumes custom designed by top ataliers from Cairo and Turkey. They range from traditional bedlah (bra and belt sets), and folkloric dresses to the most up to the minute modern styling Cairo has to offer. If your event has a particular colour scheme it may be possible to co-ordinate the costume to this.
PROPS- Caroline can perform with a variety of props, space permitting including Isis Wings, Dancing on a Drum,Veil, Assaya (cane), Dancing on glasses, Sword, and Sagat.
Please discuss your individual requirements when booking.
A typical booking would consist of either one set lasting 15 minutes or two sets of 15 minutes with a costume change.
Isis wings or veil will be used for her dramatic entrance piece followed in the second set by either a lively saidi stick dance or a mystifying sword dance or dancing on glasses. During the evening, if required Caroline will invite your guests to dance with her.
If your guests are dining then the most appropriate time for Caroline to perform would be after the starters have been served and after the main course has finished. If only one performance is required the best time for Caroline to dance will be either after the main course or dessert.
Caroline can also provide a short performance combined with a mini workshop for your ladies nights/hen parties.
Due to the personalised nature of the performances there is no fixed fee and this will be discussed during your booking enquiry.
Once all details have been finalised, a 50% deposit will be required to secure the booking with the balance due in cash on the day or by cheque in advance. Please confact for terms and conditions of booking.
