Caroline is a caring, reassuring and approachable teacher. She encourages each student to maximise their own potential and creates a warm, friendly and fun class environment.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn belly dance, your very first lesson can be a daunting prospect - don't worry, we've all been there and we know how you feel! Belly dance will help you tone up, increase your co-ordination and flexibility, improve your posture, help you gain confidence and bring out the inner diva in you! Most important of all - you will have fun.

Beginner's Bellydance - 6.15-7.15pm -Taster session 18th January Suitable for those who have never done bellydancing or with limited experience. £5.00 per class
Mixed Level Bellydance - 7.30-9.00pm
If you have at least 6 months experience of belly dancing and feel that you have mastered the basic belly dancing moves and would like to further your development, this class is for you. The class will cover technique drills, improvisational skills together with professional development in the first hour and choreographies in the last half hour.

Caroline also offers private tuition in her own dance studio for up to 2 people. Costs are as follows: 1 person £25 2 people £35
An ideal opportunity to cover that technique that you are having trouble with or to push your technique to the next level. Other subjects can also include choreography, the art of improvision, baladi, saidi and rhythms to name but a few.

I am fully insured to teach students from the age of 14 upwards and I am a qualified JWAAD trained teacher, a member of the JWAAD Teachers Association and have been CRB checked. In 2009 I also completed the PTLLS City & Guilds Course, Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
I am also a qualified Zumba instructor and a Zin member.
All classes include a warm up, pulse raiser and stretches. Please check with your doctor before begininning any form of exercise unless you exercise regularly already. It is still possible to belly dance during pregnancy - please speak to me before embarking on any class.
